How to Apply Flector
Apply as prescribed by your doctor.
Using Flector is simple. Just peel the adhesive backing from the Flector patch and apply directly to the site of your pain. The recommended dose is 1 patch every 12 hours to the most painful area, twice daily.
If Flector begins to peel off, the edges of the patch may be taped down. For ankles, knees, and elbows, you can use a mesh netting sleeve to keep the patch in place as long as air is still able to pass through.
When Not to Use Flector
Do not apply Flector to damaged skin, and do not wear the patch when showering or bathing. Wash your hands after applying, handling, or removing Flector. Avoid contact with your eyes.
Before taking Flector, tell your doctor if you have a history of cardiovascular disease, or liver or kidney disease.
Tell your doctor if you have a history of GI bleeding or are taking a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) therapy for another medical condition.
